Update Records from Email

Hi All,
I have a DB for monitoring housing loans. Customers make monthly repayments to my bankers, who sends me an instant email notifying me of the payment.

Is there a way I can extract the contents of such mail automatically, so that I can update the my table?

I read much about the email replies but all are talking about responses you requested for.
