I import data from a form on Access to Excel, through the data.... import external data... point it to the database. Most columns update with no problem but there are 1 or 2 that do not update correctly. Any ideas that might solve this? Thanks in advance.

I think some more info would be helpful. What format of column is showing the issues?

How exactly are you exporting the info from Access to Excel?

I import the data by setting up a data link in excel, selecting in the tooolbar data.... import external data... point it to the database.

The columns that are not updating are a gender and value column. Some of them do and others do not. I recreated the link to see if that helps.

Just to clarify what you are saying. Are you exporting data from Access to Excel or are you importing data from Excel to Access.

Neither. I'm copying from a file that is in a separate directory that contains JPGs and PDF files.
