Updating data in a linked table is not supported by this ISAM

Anyone ever get this error? I have it currently when I try to update data in a linked table. Anyway to circumvent this? I believe I have done it before, but can't remember. Access 2003.

What is it linked to? If it is linked to an Excel Spreadsheet, then yes - the answer is you cannot do it. It USED to be able to be done but back in Access 2002 the ability was removed because of a lawsuit that Microsoft lost.

So, now with Excel you can only read information from the file you cannot send information back directly as a linked table.
