I have a database split with the back end on a server and front ends on pc's.
It is written in 2002 and needs to be upgraded to 2002.
Microsoft mention in their help guides that you should recreate the workgroup file in 2002 and then convert the database.
I have done this, but I am receiving messages that I do not have permission.
Could someone confirm the correct approach with a split database.
Should I desecure, convert into one database, upgrade to 2002, secure again and split?
