Hi all professional ,

i am planning to make an access database in web ,

but I want the access database work like this but dunno can or not :

1)Example Production need 500 pcs parts, then they scan the barcode , then the system will transfer the data of the barcode into my access database through server , then the access database will auto reduce the amount of stock in warehouse, is it possible to make it ?

Please use comprehensive titles, "Urgent help" usually just gets ignored.... (by me)

Stock is a calculatable value that is the result of incomming stock - outgoing stock and should have a starting value from there be calculated not stored.

i means, is it possible to use "Scan barcode" to run an event ?

A person in Production scans a barcode on an item that they want to order, then enters "500" in the Qty field and clicks "Send Order".
That should be fine if your barcode scanner can be set to send a text string to wherever the cursor is, which I think is issue for the scanner driver and not for Access.
