URGENT! URGENT! How to remove Access 2000 on machine that had Access 97 on it.

I have a new machine.
It had Access 97 working in conjunctin with Office 2000 w/o problems, until I accidentally hit the Access 2000 in Programs menu.
I know my data will not do well under this, probably.

HOW TO REMOVE ACCESS 20000 w/o damaging other Office 2000 items.

are you sure you want to remove it?

Access2000 should always indicate that your trying
to open 97 in 2000 and do you want to convert at which point
you simple say no and close all 2000 and open the main Access97
and then your file will open in 97, and if you open a 2000
in 97 this time you just wont be able to do anything so
you close all Access 97 that you might have open and open
the main Access 2000

Your data should be ok unless you do a convert and then
you have a chance to rename the file, just by opening
a 97 in 2000 should do nothing to your data
