Hello, I recently wrote a database that keeps track of storeroom inventory in a chemical plant in St. Louis, MO. My user has a couple questions that I hoped someone would be able to help me with.
1. Is it possible, in datasheet view, to enter a new record ANYWHERE in the datasheet, not just at the end of the present records?
2. How do I copy and paste only a few fields from a record to a new record?
Also, I am trying to create a report that will calculate the total value of all items in the storeroom. I have a "Total Value" field in my table, but I need to be able to sort all the totals by type, and then get a Grand total of all. Thanks in advance for any help.
