User Interface

Since we're all sharing....

Here's some screen shots from the latest db design I put together. Couldn't zip the files as they were too big so I'm just gonna post them one at a time. Here's the first... enjoy and let me know what ya think!

Have you tried using white or a light silver color in your little menu bar with the images behind the text? Its kinda of clashing colors to me. Just a suggestion. :D

Anyone know how to interface MS Autoroute with Access? I know I can call it as an app but it would be really handy to be able to capture information from it like distance, est. time etc.

If you are a MS Action Pack subscriber you get Microsoft MapPoint® 2002. I believe there is an SDK or some documentation on integration. THIS may be the best fit! You should be a subscriber!

The interface looks nice- Love the Script title! I would love to change my interface colors, but don't have the time to edit each control background color/effects/etc... I think I have seen a VBscript at one of these download sites to auto-change all objects. But again, no time to play. Plus I want to change colors and effects one time, not constantly play with colors. Maybe we should ask all contributors to this "colors" thread to include object settings. Allright I know a pain in the ass to look it up.

Hi stormin_norm

Thanks for the feedback

Don't know about changing all objects but as you say there must be a way. If I find anything I'll let you know or maybe someone else could advise.

I just set mine up from the begining 'cause MS default colors are just plain boring.

MapPoint ehh? heard of it but never investigated I'll go do some research.

Thanks again

Pete
