user to add to the combo box.....

If i have a combo box and i already entered all information in it and i there might be more to be entered by user i would like them to be able to type it in the box and it will add it to the list. HOW DO I DO THAT

In your table, go to design view. In field properties for your combo box field, go to the lookup tab. Set the "limit to list" to NO. User can now type in new information that will be added.

I tried that and it doent work. I have the combo box in design view of forms I entered the information there in Row Source so would that matter if its there instead?

The reply above is only half the answer.
I'm assuming you want your users to be able to add extra options to the combo box. Is your combox box linked to a table. If so i have code that you can use. it was originally written by me so i can't take complete credit
It involves "On Not in list" option in the event property.
This code will also update all combo box in the form you have that's pointing to the same table. That way the user could just use the drop down menu. Let me know if you want. It's quite long i can e-mail it to you and you can just do copy and paste
