I have a form with a combo box to choose employees. about 30 and growing. The problem is the customer would like to choose several employees to be associated with the record. The combo box only lets me choose one. Do I create 10 combo boxes or have the combo box and a button so 10 text boxes are updated by the one combo? any suggestions would be nice.

Not sure I understand the relationship. Are you saying that you would like a single record to be associated with more than 1 employee? You had also mentioned text boxes? Do you mean that the combo box entry replicates to those text boxes?
I am thinking a subform would be helpful here. this form can contain several boxes for multiple employees, linked to both tables (assuming you employees are in a separate table than your main records)

I have the same problem. I have a db with properties and one property can have up to 4 tenants. so i have added 4 fields to the main property table each with a lookup to its own lookup table. then on the form you use the combo to select a tenant then open the tenant detil form linking by tenant name.

I havn't a clue how to update one field which updates all the others eg. for adding a tenant. I shall sit and hope someone can help us both!

I have a table of projects, and a table of project coordinators. each exists once within its own table. I have created an intermediate table that sits between the two ie

ID, ProjectID, ProjectCoordinatorID

That way you can use the intermediate table in queries to achieve for example, a list of all projects against each member of staff
