I have been modifying an inherited database. It has lots of tables that are connected every which way. I want to remove a couple of fields from a table but get an error because those fields are linked to other tables. When I display Relationships, it is a maze of lines all over the place.

- Can I safely click the "Clear Layout" button?
- It just clears the display of the tables not any of the relationships, correct?
- And then I can just select the tables I need to see and their links, correct?
