Using DoCmd.OpenQuery in VB6.0

Hey All

Does anyone know how to use the Docmd.Openquery functionality in VB6?

I have an access db with loads of queries written already but when I execute the from a form within access... the form doesnt refresh and the app hangs. So I want to run my queries from VB rather...

Any help would be great.
