Using Formulas in Froms and Sub-forms

I need a formula in a main form that uses two form field names. One from the main form and one from the subform. I does not seem to work as I keep getting #Name?

Can Access handle this?

You just have to refer to them correctly. If you are doing your calculation from the main form, you can refer to your main form controls as:

Me.MyControl

And to access the subform control:

Forms!MyMainFormName!MySubformName!MyControl

It's best to refer to the controls by their name, NOT control source. If the name and the control source are the same, change the name, ie: EmployeeName, txtEmployeeName.
