Question Using MS Exchange Address in Access

Hi,

I am working on a database (MS Access) for recording deliveries to the company at which I work
The receptionist will input the details and each item will get an id number etc. – its pretty basic and simple,
The point where I reach the extent of my knowledge is…
We use MS Exchange server for our email and have a global address book with all employee details in – Is it possible to link the database to the exchange server so the receptionist can search for a name through the address book and then the database will automatically email that person with details of their delivery? Basically I don’t want to put all their details into the database in a table because this duplicates – but is it possible for Access to pull the details from exchange – hope that makes sense!

Hi,

I have worked out the first bit,
In case anyone is trying to do the same you go link tabel and change the type to 'Exchange' then select global address book and it links,

Now I am wondering how I can get it to send an email?
