Quick question!
I have a query in which im calculatins some fields

Total: [Value1]*[Value2]

is it possible that in the same query i can use the "Total" again?

Percentage: [Total]/100

I can make it work, but right before i run my query it ask to "Enter Parameter Value"

Do i have to make another query based on that query so it wont ask? o is there something im missing?

Just use:

Total: [Value1]*[Value2]
Percentage: ([Value1]*[Value2])/100

So you really cant? Not all my calculations are so short i have some like this
SumDQty: NZ([DQnt Standard_Ctns])+NZ([DQnt High_Pack_Ctns])+NZ([DQnt Bags=Std_Ctn])+NZ([DQnt 10/4Bags=40_Lbs])+NZ([DQnt Bags=50#&6/8's])+NZ([DQnt Snackers])+NZ([DQnt 1/2 Family_pack])+NZ([DQnt 1/3_Cunsumer_Ctns])+NZ([DQnt 5#_Bags])+NZ([DQnt 8#_Bags])+NZ([DQnt 10#_Bags])+NZ([DQnt 7/4 MST])+NZ([DQnt 8/5Bags=40_Lbs))

and i only wanted to do the SumDQty+SumOQty

I know I can get to work if I use another query i guess ill stick to that...would same a lot of time...

I found in the past that in some queries I could use the names of other fields just created in that query while in others it wouldn't work.

Since it is unreliable I stick to the longer technique. Never did determine just what was the difference with fields that did work.
