Using Outlook, Word and Access to send bulk emails.

I finally found the option to go back to old Outlook. No one ever mentioned it was in a child menu. they kept saying it was on the main window. Duh! Should have figured that one out.
Well please post the steps. It might help others in the same predicament.
 
The option to return is found only on the Help menu. I thought I mentioned that. I suppose it is possible that originally it was on the main menu but currently it is not. Once you find the option, you just follow the wizard.
 
I'm late to this thread, but what we have done successfully is to use good old Microsoft Word mail merge using Outlook. We export the source list from Access, link the Word merge template to it, and go. This avoids any complex VBA coding or use of OLE automation.

This does require Outlook Classic still, I believe.

Since Outlook Classic supports multiple profiles, it is possible to create a distinct profile for whichever organizational email account you are using to send the bulk mail. We launch Outlook into that profile before executing the mail merge.

Lo-fi, but it works.
