Values do not update

I have been using the same worksheet for months. All of a sudden the values of formulas do not update when an associated range value is changed. I can F2 the cell and the cell value changes accordingly but there are a lot of formulas.

Can anyone tell me:-
01 - Why this may have happened (to avoid it in the future)
02 - Can I repair it (otherwise I will have to create the sheet again)

Check Tools>Options>Calculation Tab and make sure that the 'automatic' radio button is selected.

That was it. Unsure how that was changed but at least its fixed now.

Sometimes an inadvertent key combination can turn it off.

FYI in Excel 2007 this option is found in:

Office orb > Excel Options (down the very bottom on the right) > Formulas > Calculation Options > workbook calculation: (automatic|auto with exceptions|manual).

takes me bloody ages to find certain things in 2007 version of office programs, but hey, there are also a hellava lot of improvements too
