Variable change border size, color

Kangaroo has pretty strong flavour that I don't particularly like.

Moreover kangaroo has long been a prime ingredient of many canned dog foods in Australia. Consequently kangaroo makes some of us think more of dog food than human food.

If you want prime Aussie meat I would highly recommend crocodile.

I would imagine it taste pretty much like Alligator and I have had lots of that here in Florida.

What continues to leave me dumbfounded is that some of the people at UA still need, after all these years and their self-promotion, to be told the difference between a Subroutine and a Function.

Post #16 is absolutely ridiculous if you know the history of the Chess game which was mentioned.

It is their desire to hide their ignorance which prolongs their ignorance.

In reality, when it comes to VBA, most of them do not have a clue.

They banned me at Utteraccess for being too negative.

Apparently this post was the last straw.

Cybercow's incisive reasoning in response:
"I just prefer to 'put things where they belong'"

Like so many common practices in Access, using text fields to store numbers with the sole justification that no calculation is to be done is simply repeated over and over without a clue because someone in Microsoft said it once.

Banned from UA? I am sorry, I didn’t realise you were that good. :D

Cybercow again? Sooner or later someone from Microsoft should look at the suitability of that MVP being one. Maybe they don’t care so long as someone promotes their product(s).

UA has a predisposition to regurgitate what someone else has written and not seriously question anything.

UA is a mutual admiration society.

UA = UtterArrogance

Argue with the site heavies and you are gone.

My favourite CyberCow post was his code example of a custom function to return the positon of character searching backwards through a string.

Anyone else would just use InStrRev().

To be reasonable I think InStrRev() is an exception.

It was introduced in version 2000 along with some other VBA functions.

http://trigeminal.fmsinc.com/usenet/usenet001.asp?1033

So, the intent of writing a version of InStrRev() would be to allow Access97 users to use that facility.

The real question is if he wrote it or did someone else write it? Whatever code he presented may, or may not, have been written by me, I do not know. I do remember writing such a Function but I was not the only one to do so around that time.

If I saw ‘his’ actual code I might be able to tell you who wrote it.

Chris.
