vat calc done on form not in table

I have managed to get my database form to calculate the vat and net costs when i enter the total cost. This all is ok when entering customer details and shows all the workings fine. In design view the boxes i have created for the calculation say 'UNBOUND' and these calculations do not appear in the table database. how can i get the answers i have created to appear in the table. Am i going about it the wrong way. Answer on here or freephone 0800 214238

Your Unbound text box just displays the calculation. It is not considered good design to save calculated values in the table.
