Sorry for the beginnerish question. I'm teaching myself Access through a project for work - it's to keep records of companies my organisation interviews.

The database is to be used by other people, so my priority is to create a straightforward data entry form.

The company interview has a number of sections. Ideally I would like to create a form with tabs to each section, but don't know if this is even possible - well, I'm sure it is but wouldn't know where to start looking.

In the meantime, to save time, I've created one long form with all the questions. However I still have 2 or 3 questions to go and seem to have run out of room! the "detail" won't drag down any further.

If anyone can offer any advice on making the form bigger, or preferably on making a form with tabbed sections and some navigation, or point me in the direction of keywords I should be searching for help under, I'd be most grateful. I don't have access to a manual - usualyl just get by with a combination of intuition and help tables, but I've had no luck so far and tiem is running out.

No Problem

I can help you with this. Tabs would certainly make it easier.

If you would like to send me a copy of what you are working with I will see what I can do for you.

Is this some sort of questionairre you are creating?

Thanks - I 've now got a tabbed form!

Is there a way to display one or two fields irrespective of which tab you are looking at? (ie company name)

Thanks for your patience

Don't place them on the tab control.

It won't let me not place them on the tab control - the tab control expands to encompass the fields.

Does your tab control cover the entire form?
