video rental application

Please forgive my ignorance. I have a basic info form with a subform. The sub form needs to display the video rental history of the person whose filtered record is currnetly displayed. I have the two forms linked together by the member number. How can I make the sub form display all of the videos a person has rented during their entire membership time?
Also, is there a way I can have a text box that when a number (membership number for example) is typed into it, it would filter and display the membership number typed into the text box?

I'd suggest purchasing the "Step by Step" guide to Access VBA. Its got an example there that uses video rentals as its base.

As I recall I think I only paid £15 approx for it.

I already have that book for Access 97. I will look through it again since it's been almost two years since I first read it. My work focus has changed quite a bit since then, so I've forgotten most of that phase in my career. Thanks for your advice.
 
I have several books on Access VBA, and I did not see a video rental application mentioned in the books. Maybe if you give me a little more specific directions, I might find it.
