Does anyone know if/how its possible to create a virtual keyboard in acces? Or does anyone know of a link?

FYI, windows comes with a built in virtual keyboard. Not sure if that helps, but there you have it.

that's right - osk.exe

wow! i had no idea! yup. i typed in "osk.exe" to the run... window from the start menu (or just hit the windows key + R) and this is what i got... cool! (not that i have ANY use for it at present! LOL)

it even changes the characters on the keyboard relative to what you are doing (ie., when you click the SHIFT key, the letters appear uppercase, etc)

For extra credit, see if you can work out how you would launch it without using the hardware keyboard or any helpful shortcuts...

(i.e. if asked to assist in a case of broken keyboard)

with the mouse i could navigate to:

start orb | all programs | accessories | ease of access | on screen keyboard

:)

got it first time b/c it makes sense!

but i'd be lost on earlier OSes me thinks! they weren't as logical in their categories... ;P

Just realised it's in a similar place in XP - I didn't actually realise that - and I've had to explore to /windows/system32 to find the executable.
