Good Morning
i have a small shop in Yorkshire and i would like to be able to input goods in date, product details, cases per pallet and the best before end date. i would also like to be able to pull reports out at the end of each week of how many in stock and a warning of the goods that are about to come to the end of there shelf life.

Please could somebody tell me how to go about this. i have basic limited knowledge of Access, alternatively is there anybody out there who might be prepared to write something for me for a fee

Many Thanks
Phil

For starters, I would strongly recommend that you design a Front-end/Back-end database, so all your data is stored in one file and all your forms and reports are stored in another. This helps protect your data while you add or change other items.

Now I hate to do it, but I'm going to have to go into advertising mode. I work for a small company in Dorset that predominantly designs databases for other small companies. What you describe sounds right up our street. If you'd consider working with us, please follow the link in my sig to our website. Alternatively you can PM me for more info.

i would happilly write this for you, very simple to program to write, just you basic POS stock control system, should only take a day after collecting all the relivant information.

If you wish to discuss please mail me.
