Hello Everyone! This is Nile again.

Has anyone dealt with updating his database via making update packages and sending it to the users who can be sitting in different parts of the world? I think it's kinda hard cuz the updates may deal not only with the forms but with tables, already input data, you have to be careful not to destroy their precious data ha-ha. That is the problem I am facing.
Anyways I am wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for me. I have actually thought about many things, but I don't see the light, it all seems very hard.

Thanks a bunch, and please lemme know if you can.

I have, over the past few weeks, considered the same thing. I have now created a backend - frontend database before the users get to involved. This way, when distibuted, the frontend and backend will be in 'different' locations. Data in one place & forms, reports etc in an other.
This way if an update is ever required, they only have to replace the front end.

The only thing to concider is that to do this automatically, the tables in the front end and back end must be the same.

If your upgrade includes extra or altered tables you may be in trouble.

:D People would ask me this question very often when I was in the states for summer! Turkmenistan shares its border with Iran, Afganistan, Kazakhstan and caspian Sea... Knowing the mentioned you should be able to point it out on the globe :D . By the way, good thing I don't live in Afganistan lest I be a farmer not giving a rip to what is MS ACCESS and especially a database :D .

Thanks for asking, and thanks for a suggestion, the front and back end is a good idea.

Take care,
Nile
