There is a big problem with EV's and towing things (Caravan's trailers etc.) it completely kills the range (we're talking <50% here ) as the motors are designed with the car's normal weight as optimum, so the torque set up is maximised for that, not something significantly heavier.

Also, the charging points aren't set up for anything with a trailer, so you would have to unhitch and charge then re-hitch up your trailer.

I really like the idea of EV's for large cities especially for buses and taxis because of their low emissions but otherwise, we are being sold a bill of goods as usual.
