Hi, hoping someone can explain this one for.

I have developed and published a Web Access Database to SharePoint and it has been in use for 2 or 3 months without any issues until today when someone needed to enter a negative value in an invoice currency field to reflect a credit note and it doesn't accept this as a valid entry.

There are no issues entering a negative value in the database itself so it must be a SharePoint issue but it simply doens't make any sense. :banghead:

I'm either missing something that is so obvious I can't see it or there is a very basic issue with Web Access and sharePoint compatability.

Any pointers gratefully received, thx.

Hi,

This seems very odd indeed.

Are you using Office 365 to host this Access Services web database or are you using an on-prem SharePoint server within your own organization?

Just to clarify, if you open the web table in Access, you can enter a negative value, but if you use the web form displayed within the browser, you cannot enter a negative value?

Let me know the answers to those questions and then I'll see if I can repro the issue.

Thanks,
