I would very much like to convert an Access2000 Dbase (with forms and reports a quite a bit of VBA code) into something with a web-interface. My first thought is rewiting the forms using java or something similar. For example, I suspect .Net would handle it. All fo this assumes I have some form of SQL - either local or a server with it, I assume.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Is it clear what i want to do? If someone has done this sort of thing in the past, I would love to see an example - even a short one. Also, thoughts on pitfalls and disadvantages would be most welcome, as well.

Thanks, in advance,
Tom

Thanks.

Thanks, Spacepro.

I'll check out the link.

I'm a fairly experienced programmer (C, C++, Perl, etc.), but am rather novice at the VBA and Access macros and so on.

Thanks, again. When I have questions, I'll certainly ask again.

Tom
