Website access to MS Access data?

I'm wondering if (how?) it is possible for a website to pull data from an Access database?

We have all our department's policies in a MS Access database on our server. Some of these policies need to be made available to the public on our website. I'm wondering if there's a way for the website to pull directly from the database rather than having to manually upload the policies to the site every time they change (annually, semi-annually).

You by no means want an Access database to be web accessible. Not reliable.

Better would be to build web pages (report to HTML) the data in the Access database and upload those web pages.

For a true web database, that calls for a SQL type database... perhaps MySQL on a LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP) server.
