week calendar view

Hey guys,

I'm working on a database that should handle some scheduling and was curious if there is a way to do a Monday through Friday calendar view for multiple people. Like a one week calendar with multiple rows for different people. Im not sure if i need to elaborate but i need to be able to assign resources on each day to a certain person, is this possible to keep track of in a calendar like view? Im also using access 2003.

The simplest way would be to have a single table with fields

StartOfWeek 'Date/Time
EmployeeName 'Text
Monday 'Text
Tuesday 'Text
Wednesday 'Text
Thursday 'Text
Friday 'Text

and have a form either in Datasheet View or Continuous View.

I'd probably use a slight variation, with one table holding the StartOfWeek and the second table as above. The first table would be the base for a main form, then the second table would be used for a subform, linked by StartOfWeek. As you move from one week to another in the main form, the assignment "calendar" would appear for that week.
