Hi all,
I am trying to share a database with other people on the network. This is successful so far. However there has been a couple of odd outcomes and i was wondering if i could get any reasoning behind why what has happened, happened.
First, when all people sign out and stop using it, and i look up the data. The autonumbering is all out of sink. i.e. not 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ....n
But 6, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 11, 12, how can i get it to refresh it self. or is it the order it was entered in matter.
Secondly, there were multiple copies of one partiuclar record so like
1 Jane Smith a b c d e f g
2 Gary Anderton f g h j k l l
3 Paul Stewert df df df fd fd
1 Jane Smith a b c d e f g
5 Steven Chappell r g t h yj
So number 4, was missed out and replaced with another data entry.
Anyone know what is going on at all? All help would be greatly appreciated..
Many thanks
Darren
