I've been working on this project for about a month
wanted to know what you guys

to get to the db double click the small command button near the graphic on the menu form the password is exodus.

you will have to hit f11 to see the db window. don't bother holding down shift when opening I've locked it from another db.

any suggestions will be appreciated.

I can't attach it because it's too big did all the stripping possible and still so if you want to see it e-mail me its 733k zipped

Did you:

Tools --> Database Utilities --> Compact/Repair
Then ZIP

Then attach?

I did that and imported into a blank db the smallest i get it all stripped and zipped is 127k but it leaves out a lot of the reports

Opened it up, had an error that I was missing CRVIEWER.DLL.

no biggie, it still opened.


The colors are,,, extreme. thats for sure.

If this is for a small group of people its not a big deal, but for a large group, you may want to have a more corporate look to it?


The forms have no way to close them down.. IE. the password form, I tried to close it, it crashed with an error, then opened the debug window, and wouldn't let me close it. Even when I used the correct password.


The left function was giving me errors on the reports screen.


I have heard that using the MSysObjects is a bad idea, because they can change from version to version. It would be better to have a table with a manual entry of your reports so strange errors like this do not occur.


The report viewer is cool.

This is probably only going to be used by a hand full of people in my office.
Personaly I like trippy stuff but I thought I was pretty conservative



When it opened did it open with the menu form?

Colors: Should have been black and blue but maybe I have some system colors in there. Can you post a screen shot.

Password form: Can't figure that one out I used something from Candace Tripps site. Really it's only supposed to be opened by the creator anyways so I lived with it. But I'll put it on my list.

Reports sreen: The report screen or the report criteria I don't remember having a left function in either one. Can't look at it right know only have A97 at home.

I think you spent too much time on the look, and not enough on the functionality and usability.

I'll redownload it and post the screenshots.

Found the left function it was part of the MSysObjects for the reports
Made the changes you suggested for report table.

Any sugesstions on usability and functionality?
