Define Primary Key.
A Primary Key is a unique record identifier in each table.
Define Foreign Key.
Foreign Key refers to the Primary Key of another table. The Foreign Key must be the same field type (Number) as the Primary Key.
Define a "relationship" between two or more tables.
The data in each table must be related in some way - they have to need each other to be complete. In our Student & Advisor example that we have been using, there is related data in the pieces of information because each advisor has students to advise and every student has an advisor.
I think that he has posted again because he did not understand the responses in his first thread, I have to wonder if he followed KenHigg's advice to read Access help?
I also think he is expecting the foreign key to have some sort of icon indicating it. Please read the access help.
