Hmm - you didn't read it I suppose (or you don't understand what you read)!
ACCDB is the database extension from version 2007 and forward. It is for the same use as MDB was before version 2007.
Microsoft Access 2007 introduced a new database format: ACCDB. ACCDB supports links to SharePoint lists and complex data types such as multivalue and attachment fields. These new field types are essentially recordsets in fields and allow the storage of multiple values or files in one field. Microsoft Access 2007 also introduced File Attachment field, which stored data more efficiently than the OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) field.
Versions are often backwards compatible, never forward compatible so an ACCDB database can't be open with version 2003.

JHB, i knew it,

I am not Impaired physically ! Ok ! as u r saying !

But thanks for good reply !

the ACCDB ext. so i posted this Question

It's not necessary that you know something and
to Affirm/Confirm you shud not post any quest. in AWF

I never mention that, u d.
But, if u ve read the article, why didn't u find out that, "ACCDB is the database extension from version 2007 and forward."?
So what is wrong with my conclusion, (what conclusion would you come up with)?

  1. U didn't read the article! (Honestly u didn't read it, did u?)
  2. U didn't understand what u read!
