what is the record number

Hi,

I have a combobox. When an emplyee number is selected, i want it to go to the record which matches te number.

I've tried this one on after update:

DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acGoTo, "Badgenummer= " & Me.Badgenummer

The last part isn't working. Does someone see how it wil work?

Use the Combo Box Wizard, it'll give you the option to Find a record

Try a variation of this (substitute your control names):

DoCmd.GoToControl "[ObjectID]"
DoCmd.FindRecord .cboFindObjID, acEntire, False, acDown, False, , True
