What's for dinner? Bugs!

I stumbled across a rather unusual cookery channel yesterday. Grubs, bugs, crickets, rats, spiders and other such delicacies are on the menu. I thought these people must be very poor, but apparently in Thailand they are a delicacy!

I've had snails and frogs legs while in France, but that is about as far as it goes.

What have you eaten that is a little out of the ordinary. What would you be prepared to eat?

What!! No mention of "Solyent Green". Soylent Green - The Authentic Recipe. <-- Authors left-out is the secret ingredient. . The complimentary drink would be Slurm. Given the left's quest for everyone going "green", this would seem to be the logical conclusion for low carbon footprint production.

The closest I ever got to unusual food is alligator. Pretty bland.

The bugs seem to be high in protein low in sugar so that's good but they do have some carbs. Guess I'll stick with the steaks for now.
