Hi Gurus,

I am a newbie in Access. I opened the NorthWind (FPNWIND) database (Access sample: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033\) and in the table Categories, the leftmost column contains the + symbol, which is similar to the + symbol to expand/collapse a folder.

When I clicked on this little +, it expanded into something like another table.

So, what is that little + and if it is useful, how to make it ?

Thanks a lot

Make it ? I dont know how exactly, but its like the + in explorer in expands the row to show related records, I think you create it by having a relation in the relationship window.

Regards

Yes it shows relationships like a bound form and its linked subform.

You can remove this by setting the tables Subdatasheet property to [None].
