Wheel Thingy On Mouse

You know the scroll ball wheel thingy on your mouse inbetween the two mouse buttons.

On a form i created if you scroll up and down on it it scrolls through the records on the form.

Is there anyway i can stop this from happening?

Dudes i have searched and trawled and not found a soultion

Someone of nowheel.zip, or some of the others come up with error messages

the lebon thingy i cant donwload

im at work so i cant hack about with the files in the programme files directory

What i need is some code and explanation to turn off the mouse wheel on forms of my choice in windows xp office 2003

If you only want the users to be able to view one record and not be able to mpve to the next record, select the properties of the form and and change the 'cycle' option from 'All Records' to 'Current Record'.

dude i did look very far and have tried that one allready but it did not work

It only stops the mouse scrolling if the user has amended a record. how do i get the mouse wheel things disabled if the user hasnt amended any records?!?!?!?!

You want to check out the "Creating the MouseWheel Event Completely Within Microsoft Access" section of the article. Do not ignore the warnings!

I have never used it for I would not want to take that functionality away from my users if the record is not dirty.
