When I view the relationships window, not one of the relationship connector lines (whatever the technical term is) do not show up! I click view all relationships, view direct relationships. I restarted my computer, restarted Access. Nothing!

I know I have relationships because when I am table design view I try to change something that I know has a relationship and it doesn't let me because it says I have a relationship.

What is going on!?

I had this problem when network latency ( or some other as yet to be found problem) caused an "orphan" record on the many side to be created without a good corresponding one record. Once this broke the cascading relationship, the relationships disappeared. Solution was to go in and delete the orphan and the hammered one side record, compact and repair the database and then re-establish the relationships.

I have the same problem !

My MDB is a single one ( No B-end or F-end )

I have tried the "Compact & Repair" but it didn't solve the problem .

any ideas ?

Thanks .

Compact and Repair may not delete hammered record

If you have the problem I alluded to above, the C&R may not fix it. Scan through your records on the "One" side and look for some weird characters or, maybe, ###### etc. Delete this record and then do the C & R. Depending on the error, I've had to append the good records before and after the spurious record to a new table and then delete the old table. Generally these bad records are found at or near the end of the table i.e last used, but could be anywhere depending on what records were being written at the time.
