Where do i put the code???

Sorry to be a beginner, but i have been asking question like how to bypass the shift key, for security etc.

I have been told to enter certain code, but am new to it all.

I have a good database setup, security is done, with permissions issued.

But where do i enter the code, is that for the whole database, or for individual forms,table.

Do i create a module and then isert the code, i can understand the code but don't know where i am supposed to enter it???

Am i on the completly wrong track with it all...

No need to apologize as there is not a person here who was not a beginner at one time though I sometimes believe that the inimitable Pat Hartman was born knowing this stuff!

If someone has given you code to bypass the shift key it probably goes in a module, but without seeing the code you have I can't say for sure. I might suggest that you search the MS Knowledge Base as I think there is an article there on the subject.
