Is it not a waste of space; causing unnecessary scrolling & wasted time in making it appear so tall. Not the end of the world, but myself personally think it would be better if it was a normal post size; shrink-wrapped css.

Says how well designed the forum is if this is my only gripe :).

Maybe it's because when viewing one's own posts they appear taller?

Compare your first post of this thread with the image you posted.

I would suspect some extra characters that are not visible - like spaces, carriage-return/line-feed pairs, or vertical tabs. Some thing to take up what we used to call "white space."

You can edit your own post. Do so and use the down-arrow key to run the cursor to the bottom of the post. You can use the rubout (backspace) key to remove the blank lines if you find any.

You're right Doc, apologies to the forum. It is by far the best designed I have encountered, & the calibre of users & I am a member of many forums (not just Access). Very fortunate to have found this forum.

Is that still what you see now? This is what I see when I go to that thread.

I've encountered it quite a bit, some posts appear unnecessarily tall. Though I didn't enter any return characters... it appeared taller. At least on edit it resolved it but I think there may be something going on. Been a while since I posted (apart from recent).
