Wildcards and Dates

Here's my quandry...

I need to perform a query on a date/time field that would allow me to only see results that would happen in a specific month over a span of years.

To bring this to layman's terms, I want to find all the records that were entered in June only. Year is irrelevant.

For example, I want to find all the orders that were placed in June, whether they were placed this year, last year, or x number of years ago.

You can use the DartPart function to extract just the month from a date. For example, DatePart("m",#3/31/2003#) will return the number 3.

Use that function like this DateMonth: DatePart("m",[name of your field]) in the Field line of a query and set the criteria to 6 if you want to return June.
