I am building a DB in 2007 yet our department has not yet fully upgraded and won't be until the end of the year. Currently we are running Access 2003, will this prohibit the users that have yet to upgrade from utilizing the DB?

Sorry if this has been touched on before, but I have searched high and low and could find nothing.

I moved your post because it was in the wrong forum.

No. If you use the .acdb format, older versons of Access will not be able to use the database. However, if you create the database in the .mdb format, you will loose some features but users of older versions will be able to use the database. Then once everyone is converted, you can convert to the .acdb format and move on.
