Just a simple question about Windows XP Explorer background colour.
I have changed the background colour so that the explorer window panes are not white - I have to stare at it all day and a very pale light green I find is a bit easier on the eyes.
I went to Control Panel / display/ appearance tab / advanced button, selected Windows as the Item and changed Color 1 to my selected colour.
It changed the background colour of my windows explorer however in folder view (right hand side pane) the background colour is not consistent.
In many folders the 'Name' column is still white in some other folders the 'Date Modified' column is white.
Why is this and is it possible to change it so all the columns are the background colour?
