Hi,

I have a key in my registry for a particular application where the data entered is a long number, certainly not the data which i entered through the application. Is there a way to convert this piece of data to see the actual data which it contains, maybe via some kind of utility?

Thanks

Well it depends on the format of the data it could be in decimal or hex or a mix of numbers and letters and they may no necessarily be related to the 'data' you entered. There are ways but I would be reluctant to reveal them because:

This wouldn't happen to be license key would it ? If so what are you up to tut tut :p if it's legit what are you trying to achieve ? maybe there's another way.
