Running a Access 2003 DB from a server running windows server 2000, the Db consistes of a backend (on the server) and the front end(from users computer). It was working fine until the other day then all of a sudden one of the forms would not open, I re introduced the front and back ends and it worked, however it has stopped again and no matter what I do this one form will not open.

It works fine on other computers on the same network, would it be a MS security update which has caused this odd behaviour?

any help greatly received

Alex

Could be - Is this a work computer ? If so how are updates managed ? You could check the restore points of the other PC against this one for a hint.

Has anything else changed on this one PC (new software, anti-virus update etc.)

Yep it certainley is a work computer so none of them are the same whatso ever thanks for the hint I'll have a look and see if I can find a correlation

Regards

 If it's a work computer I would expect all of them to be the same tbh hence my question about how are they managed (or not in this case :p), is there not anyone who is responsible for this ?

Allowing automatic updates on work machines is asking for trouble ;) especially if you have network apps/ components (i.e. it not a simple desktop with local apps).

They are managed very badly, I just deliver the software but regretably I'll have to iron out this one to make it work arghhh
