Winzip Compression and Access

I am going nuts here, am I not able to compress mdb files with Winzip. I have trying to do this for 2hours now and it does not work. The zip file is the same size as the original mdb file...

Anyone have any thoughts on this...

What do you have the compression set at? Is it on none? The putting it on Maxium.
