I have a database which can perform a mail merge on my windows 2000 machine running access 2000. I moved the db to WinXP machine running Access2003 and I can NOT get the mail merge to run correctly.
I tried OLE, DDE, ODBC. No luck with the merge within access. No luck running a merge from within MS Word.
Any suggestions????

First step is to make sure that this is not a references problem.

Okay, Thats it Pat! I'm not sure why you need to select Microsoft Word 11.0 Object library. Under 2000 I did not have to select 9.0 object library. Strange.

Quick question- I assume the Microsoft Office Object Library includes the objects/methods in the Microsoft Word Object Library. So selecting the Office Object Library is better.

Thanks Again Pat!

Bad assumption. The Office library gives you the little help-critter, like the Clipit and other animations, plus some toolbar things. Word library gives you Word things like paragraphs, (Word) tables, lists, etc.

Thanks Doc Man!
Any good documentation on the different libraries?? Not necessarily the guts (objects, methods, syntax). But more on the general overview of when each is required.
The ADO, DAO libs are described in every access book. But not the office, word, etc..libs...
