Write conflict on main/subform

I have a main and subform setup in an Access project (.adp) that is running against a SQL Server db (without a 'slammer' worm, I hope). My problem is that when a user tabs from the main form to the subform and then back again I keep getting a message that says a write conflict occured and how would I like to resolve it. My main and sub forms are in a 1-many relationship. What would cause this message? I know nobody else is accessing the db. Something must be getting changed on the main form somehow. That's the only thing I can think of. Has anyone else had an issue like this? Any suggestions?

When you tab to/from a form/subform, the one you leave is probably updates without all unique indexes being updated correctly with code.

write conflict in main/subform

I have the similiar problem with write conflict when going in/out of main/subform. Did you have problem solved?

I think the problem was that I was setting the value of a field even though I thought I wasn't. I had an option group that I wanted visible if it had a certain value and invisible otherwise. Well somewhere in there I had been setting a field's value to Null. This kind of change causes the record to be updated and the main/sub form setup was not kosher with that.

At least I think that was the issue.

Thanks so much for your reply.
I will look into mine more closely.

Thanks!!
