XP Network address incompatible on Win7

I am upgrading from Access 97 on XP to Access 2003 on Win7.
All seem OK so far except for linked tables queries etc.
The existing links take the form:
\\ComputerName\C\FileName\Database.mdb
These links dont work.
If I remap the links to work, they end up as the same but without "C", ie \\ComputerName\FileName\Database.mdb

Im using WORKGROUP networking rather than HOME so XP users can still use the network for now.

Any help would be welcome, otherwise Ill just have to remap a load of links.
