I was trying to change the call code in the "ON LOAD" event line for Access 2010 and did something that now will not let me do anything relative the module. I get the message "You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later". I am the only person using this computer/software. I simply want to delete the module so that I can move on, but after receiving that message it kicks me off Access 2010. Can anyone help?

thanks

Close any current session of Access you may be running. Then do a Ctrl/Alt/Del, open Task Manager and look at your processes. Occasionally a process will hang in memory even though the application is no longer running. If there is still a process running for Access, kill it and re-open your app. See if that solves your problem.

Not sure if this will work for you but.......Had the same issue/error mssg. I copied the entire database and pasted it in another (newly created) folder within the same root folder family and problem gone.
